There is an ever-increasing interest in native plants these days, and for good reason. Over thousands of years, Florida's native plants have adapted to the diverse ecosystems that exist here—everything from sand, saltwater, fires, tropical storms, drought and rock. Native plants attract butterflies and birds to the garden, providing a haven for wildlife.
When planted correctly, native plants require less water, less fertilizer and less pest control than non-natives. A major part of our work is to help our clients achieve 100% native gardens through a greater awareness of the diverse climate here in the Florida Keys.
